ANANDI offers a variety of ways by which you can get involved and contribute to spreading ANAND – joy.

We need a consultant for creating visually appealing and easily comprehensible content for a booklet.

The booklet is a compendium of schemes in Gujarat, which will be used by Panchayat members, community members, and people from the block administration.

The writer will be provided with raw material such as reference books and information that needs to be churned out into the more engaging content.

The book will be in Gujarati.

An illustrator is also required to co-create this booklet along with the writer, for creating relevant illustrations. The booklet must be extremely user-friendly.

The assignment is month-long and needs to be immediately initiated.

If you’re passionate about designing and implementing models and to improving rural governance and panchayats , womens rights, building people’s institutions and strengthening local democracy or in working with young women and girls on adolescent rights this is the place for you.

Looking for people to join our team in Gujarat working as program manager, program associate, research associate, thematic coordinators in the following programs
1. Peoples rights and governance in the Gender Justice and Governance program and
2. Young women’sand girls citizenship and leadership as part of the Young People’s program.

Knowledge of Gujarati is an advantage but is not essential. Prior experience of 2 to 10 years would be great.

Designation: Associate: Research and Documentation

Job Description :

  • Assistance in research and advocacy on the issues of aspirations, education, safety & security, livelihoods, right to sexual health, early marriages and consent of young and adolescent girls.
  • Developing the protocols to deal with the cases of abduction and kidnapping of young girls, early marriage with or without the consent of young girls, POCSO, POSH and sexual violence, and domestic violence against young girls.
  • Documenting the stories of human interests based on real life experiences and the processes of social change.
  • Designing the tools and modules for the feminist leadership building and empowerment of young girls.
  • Engaging a dialogue with audience at different levels over research findings.
  • Engaging in feminist collective knowledge building practices.

Skills: 
Applying different qualitative and quantitative techniques for the data analysis Flair in writing research papers as well as modules in English as well as Indian languages Using digital media for communication and documentation.

Remuneration: (based on the skills and prior experience)
