The film Parwaaz which captures ANANDI’s youth program. Empowering adolescent girls to influence key decisions in their lives is a missing dimension in India’s development story. The film, Parwaaz (which means “flight”) establishes the issue of adolescent empowerment as a multilayered concern. It focuses on stories from the field to showcase strategies that can be utilized to develop an enabling environment through creation of safe spaces for girls to enhance their agency, and to facilitate multilayered convergence for creating accountability mechanisms.
